Delante offers free, limited assurance, Test Digital IDs. For security purposes, we must limit the validity period certificates to two weeks. However, please feel free to order as many certificates as you wish. Test Digital IDs work with all of the major Web Server Software packages (including Netscape Enterprise Server, Microsoft IIS, C2 Net Stronghold, and Apache Servers based on SSL-EAY.) They are compatible with 98% of the installed base of Browsers. Unlike the procedures we follow for our full service IDs, Delante does not perform extensive authentication procedures before issuing Test Certificates. Therefore, we can issue these IDs minutes after you apply. However, you may not use these certificates for conducting real commerce, and you must install a special Test CA root into any browser that you will be using to test this service.
